AKRONArmed robberAKRON: A 20-year-old Akron woman says she was robbed at gunpoint at Archwood Avenue and Clement Street about 10:30 Friday night.She told police a man with his face covered came up to her, pressed a gun to her head and demanded her belongings. She gave him a driver’s license and $34, police said. She described the man as black, 20 to 25 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing 250 to 270 pounds. He was taken to Akron City Hospital.A 16-year-old male, police said, was found near Johnston Street and Downing Place with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. Police arrived four minutes later, spotted the man and chased him down Graham and Sanford roads.The residents of another Graham Road home arrived to find the same man inside their home. “After telling them he had a gun, he locked them in a laundry room and stole their car,” police said in a news release.No further details were available.
